『 System Introduction 』

To enhance the efficiency of land information management in Turkmenistan , a unified system for land information management has been established.  

In addition to managing land information handled by the Ministry of Agriculture this system also manages parcels and related attribute information for various designations such as natural environment facilities and residences. Furthermore it plays a role as an integrated system for land information management.

The system aims to utilize historical land registry information which was previously stored in map books in a manual format, by computerizing the data. 

Through the computerization of historical data, the system enables realtime access to the historical records of land. This serves as fundamental data for national land development and infrastructure construction. By constructing land information for the entire territory of Turkmenistan, the system becomes a valuable resource for future land development projects. It contributes to the utilization of necessary land information for future national land development initiatives.

The system uses current land use status and history management for informing the basic information of the national land use policy. It also contributes to the improvement of public administration services and the production of basic statistics for national land policies. 

During parcel registration, attribute information based on land use is entered to calculate and utilize national statistics. This includes lease information, cultivation information, soil information, production quantity information, and various statistics based on the purpose of land use. 

The Geographic Information Management System registers various data derived from the numerical mapping system into the geographic information database.  

Utilizing TLCIS software, users can input and manage agricultural and residential information, ensuring efficient retrieval and management.
