StarDiFY Signs MOU with Malaysia’s HPCS SDN BHD to Expand GIS Software Reach into Southeast Asia


Yongin, South Korea / Shah Alam, Malaysia – South Korean geospatial technology firm StarDiFY has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Malaysian technology solutions provider HPCS SDN BHD to export and distribute its cutting-edge Geographic Information System (GIS) software in Malaysia. The partnership aims to accelerate the digital transformation of spatial data usage in Malaysia’s public and private sectors.

Under the agreement, StarDiFY will provide its proprietary GIS software solutions along with licensing, training, and technical support. HPCS SDN BHD will serve as StarDiFY’s exclusive or non-exclusive distribution and private labeling partner in Malaysia, overseeing local promotion, sales, compliance, and customer support.


“This MOU marks an important milestone in our international expansion strategy,” said Soojin Clare Park, CEO and Founder of StarDiFY. “Malaysia is a rapidly growing digital economy, and through this collaboration with HPCS, we aim to localize and deliver high-quality GIS tools that support smarter infrastructure, urban planning, and environmental management.”


Ts. Shaharizal Othman, CEO of HPCS SDN BHD, emphasized the strategic value of the partnership. “With StarDiFY’s proven GIS technology and our strong market presence, we are confident this collaboration will meet the rising demand for intelligent geospatial solutions in Malaysia.”


Both companies will jointly develop marketing and sales strategies while ensuring full compliance with Malaysian regulatory standards. HPCS will also collect end-user feedback to support continuous product improvement.


The MOU, effective as of March 24, 2025, will remain in force for three years, reflecting both parties’ intent to formalize and deepen the partnership through subsequent binding agreements.


This initiative underscores StarDiFY’s commitment to globalizing Korean-developed smart technologies and contributing to the digital infrastructure development of ASEAN markets.
